We are Local Living and our mission is to share the most interesting places in Sweden – according to us – and we offer bookings in our personal holiday homes by the ocean, by the mountains and on the countryside.

A succesful holiday

What is a successful holiday? Is it to plan the days with fun activities or to leave gaps for spontaneity? Is it to eat a luxurious dinner by the ocean or to spend a whole day skiing? Is it to enjoy a cold beer in a hot tub and hear the birds chirping during a hike?

What defines a successful holiday is of course individual and personal. In the concept Local Living, we offer our three holiday homes for rent that are unique to us, combining what we believe to be the best things in life to enjoy both as couples, as family or as a creative business retreat. We hope and believe that one of our holiday homes will give you both time and space for experiences, reflection, and recovery.

Vemdalsskalet

In Vemdalsskalet, skiing is really close, both downhill slopes and cross country skiing during winter, hiking and tranquility are at focus during the summer.

Uttervik

In Uttervik, the beautiful Swedish nature is just around the corner, and the ocean is just a short walk away. Here you can go hiking and enjoy all of the best Sweden has to offer. Visit small cafés in picturesque settings, enjoy the silence in the woods or by the sea, and still Stockholm is just a short 1 hour and 20 minutes drive away – with all of its opportunities.

Hummelvik

In Hummelvik, you live right by the ocean shore. The property consists of several small houses complete with a conservatory and a wood fired sauna overlooking the ocean. You live right by the shore as well as beautiful forests and the property fits a larger group of friends, family or associates looking for relaxing, fun or tranquil times. 

Stockholm

Looking for a place to host an intimate launch showcasing your latest innovation? Want to impress the board or future investors? Look no further – we now offer our office space to rent by the day. 
 
The location is in the heart of Stockholm, Sweden, just a few steps from the lake Mälaren and Stockholm City Hall. Right by the prestigious Norr Mälarstrand you’ll find a 55m² office with a 20m² conferens area/lounge that suits events for up to 20 people socializing, or 8 people seated. 
 
Easy to access on street level with a large window overlooking Lake Mälaren. 
 
Lunch, dinner, or cocktails available for catering and the facilities comes with a 65” LCD monitor, high speed wifi, Apple-TV, toilet, small kitchen, and workplaces for up to four people if needed. 
 
Rates range from 8 000 sek/day bare to 40 000 sek/day fully catered.
