Overlooking the mountains and a short four minutes drive to the heart of the Swedish skiing resort Vemdalsskalet, our cottage lies. The main building is an old building dating back to the 19:th century and the newer part of the property, which holds the main bedroom, a hallway, and the bathroom was built some forty years ago. Take two steps outside, and enjoy the warmth of a proper wood-burned sauna, overlooking the slopes and the mountains.

 

We have always enjoyed skiing and prior to us buying this property, we have rented numerous houses in the area. It offers 50+ nice slopes close by, and if you are the more adventurous type of person, snowmobiles can be rented for breathtaking rides on the bare mountains, where reindeer roam freely and the views are breathtaking, to say the least. In summer, the mountains are as beautiful as in winter and offer hiking and mountain biking.

 

The cottage is suitable for rent all year round, but especially for skiing from December to April and for summer fun from May to September.
